Let Jesus be Your GPS!
I have a business that’s been pretty successful against all odds.
Recently we expanded into some new territory.
I really felt like God was opening doors.
After getting knee deep into it, I had a Christian friend who is an honorable businessman (and very wealthy) buy in to the program. Moreover, this friend knows many successful business owners who would will refer if he gets good results.
Many of our new smaller clients are doing very well, but…….this client (my friend) is seeing horrible results. We honestly don’t know why.
At first I was discouraged. But then I realized, I trust God even if this falls apart. If God is with me, who can be against me?
Then it hit me.
God is pretty good about not letting humans take credit for his works. His strength is made prefect in our weakness. Remember Joseph? Thrown into a pit by his brothers. Sold as a slave. Jailed. God made sure the world would know it was Him who against all odds, can do anything.
I honestly would not put it past God to do whatever was necessary to make sure that I see Him, and only Him, as the reason my business was successful. My friends lack of success in this campaign would eliminate all the huge referrals we could deliver.
At this point, I don’t know God plan. And my trust in Him will not be shaken even if it all fell apart tomorrow.
Maybe my friend will get the results we hoped he’d have. But I am reminded that regardless of any referrals my friend may send us, it’s still God alone who is in control. My friend has zero ability to make me successful without Gods hand in it.
When you know God is control, you won’t worry as much. Trust Him. He loves you. And don’t freak out when all seems hopeless. Be patient.
Yes, I’m driving the car. But God is my GPS and I don’t know where I’m going without Him. In fact, I’d be lost with out Him.
God may not take you on the route you want, but He will get you to the right place, at the right time.
Let Jesus be your GPS.

Author: Mike Cynar
Mike Cynar grew up in church and observed that countless people would go to church and then just stop. The church always referred to them as ‘fake Christians’ or ‘backsliders’ but Mike discovered the problem was deeper. The problem was the church message. The message was 90% behavior improvement and how bad you are, with a pinch of who you are in Christ, It was like every sermon was being preached to the church of Corinth. It’s in the Baptist church, Catholic, Pentecost, and most every other church. After discovering the true gospel message and how we are made right with God because of what ‘Jesus did’ (not what ‘we do’) Mike set out to free believers from behavior improvement programs and bring them back to Jesus. The Result – Jesus Without Religion was launched.
